GLP, a leading developer of commercial and industrial real estate, will start construction of GLP Park Praha Kozomín. The modern multi-purpose commercial and logistics complex will be located just 30 minutes from the centre of Prague. Construction is scheduled for completion in mid-2025.

The development will offer unrivalled transport accessibility. It is located north of Prague near the village of Kozomin in the immediate vicinity of an established logistics and business zone. The location directly off the D8 motorway connecting Prague to Germany provides excellent connectivity for transport and distribution.

GLP Park Praha Kozomín, with a total area of 7,600 m², is designed to offer flexibility for a wide range of uses in logistics, FMCG distribution or small retail units and showrooms. The space can be rented from 1200 m². There will be 47 parking spaces and 11 loading docks. The close proximity to another retail park adds to the development's value as a last mile logistics centre.

The building is seeking BREEAM Excellent certification and will incorporate a range of low energy and low emission solutions and technologies. Photovoltaic panels will be installed on the roof to partially cover the site's consumption. Heating will be provided by heat pumps. Intelligent monitoring and control systems will ensure efficient management of energy, water and heating consumption. The project will also include systems for rainwater harvesting and traffic management, as well as CCTV cameras to ensure the safe operation of the site.

GLP plans to sensitively integrate the entire site into its surroundings through carefully considered landscaping that will support high levels of biodiversity that will enhance the environment for staff and visitors.

"This exceptional location offers a unique combination of accessibility and convenience. The flexible design of the site gives scope for a variety of logistics and retail uses. The high design standards and location in a dynamically developing commercial and logistics zone will appeal to a wide range of customers," concludes Jan Palek, GLP's Director for Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
