CTP, the largest developer of logistics and industrial real estate in the Czech Republic, has expanded its portfolio with another strategic location. The newly acquired CTPark Pardubice Rosice provides 52,000 m² of production and warehouse space in two stand-alone CTSpace halls. There are currently 14,739 m² available for immediate lease.
Almost 190,000 sqm of modern industrial space was leased under new contracts in the Czech Republic in the second quarter. After taking into account renegotiated contracts, the total realised demand for warehouse and production space in the Czech Republic from April to the end of June was 337,625 sqm. In terms of new leases, the past quarter thus surpassed the beginning of this year. The data was published by real estate consultancy 108 REAL ESTATE.
Panattoni Park Kladno South has been awarded the highest possible rating of Outstanding according to the BREEAM New Construction international sustainability certification.
The second oldest real estate fund in the country available to the general public, Conseq real estate, has added another foreign asset to its management. The hall in Bílsko-Biała, Poland, is the fourth addition to its portfolio this year. Conseq will hold a 90% stake in the project, with Accolade holding the remaining 10%.
Prologis has entered into a new lease agreement with a leading global logistics company for 11,000 m² of space at Prologis Park Prague-Rudná. The contract strengthens the long-term partnership between the two companies. The conclusion of this agreement brings Prologis Park Prague-Rudná to near full occupancy, which only confirms the long-standing high demand for this premium location on the outskirts of Prague with excellent transport accessibility and direct connection to the D5 motorway. The 237,000 m² park in Rudná is one of the largest Prologis parks in the Czech Republic. Currently 98.5% of the warehouse space is leased, with only a few smaller units remaining vacant.
Accolade Group is expanding into South Bohemia. It has purchased the GARBE Park České Budějovice project from GARBE Industrial Real Estate (GARBE) - the first completed and fully leased Hall 4, the new Hall 5 recently handed over to the tenant, and the prepared land for future construction on the site. This will be provided by a joint venture between Accolade and GARBE. The total volume of the transaction exceeded EUR 100 million, i.e. nearly CZK 2.5 billion. It is one of the largest transactions on the commercial real estate market this year and ranks second in the industrial real estate segment.
In the P3 Prague Horní Počernice industrial park, a 25,000 sqm commercial gallery offering over 1,000 vehicles has been created. The main hall of almost 10,000 sqm, supplemented by outdoor areas, provides space for more than 1,000 vehicles, ranging from new and used models to commercial vehicles and motorhomes. The building was originally used to store electronics and has been completely renovated to accommodate cars.
The Arete investment group has these days completed the sale of its logistics complex Arete Park Rokycany II to the Reico Long Lease fund managed by Reico investment company Erste Asset Management. The divestment is part of the fund's strategy to achieve maximum return on the assets under management of the Arete Industrial fund. The fund will use the proceeds from the transaction for new acquisitions and further development of the portfolio.
International logistics company Kuehne+Nagel has announced that more than 147,000 tonnes of goods of all kinds have already passed through its terminal in Zdice in the Central Bohemian Region during its first year of operation, with almost 140,000 consignments shipped by the staff there.
