The Kuehne+Nagel Group has opened a new state-of-the-art 6,000 sqm terminal in Zdice, Central Bohemia, responding to customer demand and increasing its capacity in the sought-after logistics location.
The industrial developer Panattoni and the chemical company Wacker in cooperation with the investment group Accolade inaugurated the construction of the Panattoni Park Karlovy Vary complex. The new industrial park with a built-up area of over 23,000 sqm has started construction on the northeastern outskirts of Karlovy Vary, with completion scheduled for spring 2025.
The construction of Phase II of the Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park (OAMP) project near Leoš Janáček Airport in Mošnov has begun. When completed in Q3 this year, it will offer 120,000 sqm of Class A commercial space. Logistics and manufacturing companies are particularly interested in the space, which is being built without a pre-agreed tenant.

The production plant in Malacky has recently fully automated its warehouse section to increase operational efficiency. VGP, a European developer and owner of semi-industrial and logistics properties, is working with its tenants to make their projects more sustainable and energy efficient. An ideal example is the photovoltaic power plant just approved on the roof of Drylock's newest hall at VGP Park Hrádek nad Nisou, which covers an area of 28,000 m2 and has an output of 2,811.9 kWp. Sustainability and energy self-sufficiency of the portfolio under construction are among VGP's main objectives.
Czech online food retailer Rohlik.cz opened a new distribution centre in Ostrava last autumn. The warehouse is now fully operational. More than 45,000 households in the Ostrava region shop with Rohlik and further growth of 50 percent is expected. Rohlík is also focusing on expanding its service - since September it has started serving 640 new locations across the country.
Developer Segro has extended the contract with tenant Ikea in its industrial park in Hostivice. The unit serves as a dispensing warehouse for customers who have purchased the Scandinavian chain's goods at a nearby store in Prague's Zličín district. The Ikea outlet warehouse uses an area of 6,720 sqm. Real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield was involved in the lease extension.
Industrial developer CTP has leased 18,000 sqm to Fiege, a European logistics and transportation services provider, in a new industrial building with a total area of 71,000 sqm. The hall is currently under construction at CTPark Žatec.
