Fio real estate fund continues its expansion and buys GARBE industrial park in Chomutov
Fio Investment Company announces a second acquisition to its Fio Real Estate Fund. The real estate fund buys GARBE Park Chomutov industrial park from the property developer GARBE. The value of the transaction is EUR 33 million, or approximately CZK 840 million.

Construction of Panattoni Park Karlovy Vary has started, it will house a Wacker production plant
The industrial developer Panattoni and the chemical company Wacker in cooperation with the investment group Accolade inaugurated the construction of the Panattoni Park Karlovy Vary complex. The new industrial park with a built-up area of over 23,000 sqm has started construction on the northeastern outskirts of Karlovy Vary, with completion scheduled for spring 2025.

Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park expands by 120 000 m2
The construction of Phase II of the Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park (OAMP) project near Leoš Janáček Airport in Mošnov has begun. When completed in Q3 this year, it will offer 120,000 sqm of Class A commercial space. Logistics and manufacturing companies are particularly interested in the space, which is being built without a pre-agreed tenant.

The IKEA production plant underwent full automation while operating at full capacity.
IKEA Components, a subsidiary of the Swedish multinational IKEA, is responsible for the packaging and supply of furniture components and accessories. The production plant in Malacky has recently fully automated its warehouse section to increase operational efficiency. Without major disruption to ongoing operations, Mecalux seamlessly integrated a total of twelve three-sided pallet stackers and Easy WMS here. Pavol Masarovič, operations manager at IKEA Components, Slovakia, spoke about the details.
