Developer Garbe has obtained a building permit for an industrial development near Brno

Garbe has received building permits for the construction of two industrial buildings in Pohořelice, about 30 kilometres south of Brno near the R52 expressway. The construction of two halls of 20,000 and 11,000 sqm will begin, and will be available to interested parties in eight months. The entire project, called Garbe Park Brno South, will emphasize sustainability, high technical requirements, energy savings and associated low operating costs, according to the developer.

Demand for warehouses and production halls remains stable - automotive and rent reduction contributes

The domestic industrial real estate market had an interesting quarter in several respects. Data from real estate consultancy 108 REAL ESTATE show that while 357,000 sqm of warehouses and production space was leased in the second quarter, 335,000 sqm of industrial space was leased from July to the end of September. Of these, 207,046 sqm were new contracts. The result was also achieved thanks to several successful international tenders from manufacturing companies that opted for the Czech Republic on the basis of improving lease conditions.

Developer GLP will start construction of a new commercial zone in Kozomín u Prahy

The Czech industrial real estate market is preparing for a new model of production and logistics - the core can also help

Nearly 8 million square meters of new manufacturing and warehousing space could be developed in the Czech Republic in the coming years. ARETE enters the Polish market

Investment and real estate group ARETE has completed the acquisition of a major logistics park in western Poland. ARETE is thus expanding its operations outside the Czech and Slovak Republics and entering the Polish market. The park will strengthen the portfolio of the ARETE INDUSTRIAL fund, whose total leasable area will increase by 25% and the value of assets under management will exceed CZK 7.5 billion.

DSV buys Schenker for €14 billion

DSV adds another entry in its rich history of acquisitions. It announced its largest transaction to date, the purchase of Schenker from Deutsche Bahn. The value of the acquisition is €14.3 billion (nearly CZK 360 billion), DSV said. The company will finance the purchase with €4-5 billion in equity and debt.
